About Us

Corporate responsibility

We’re focused on ensuring we’re contributing to our communities and creating a sustainable legacy.

Trust and transparency

Trust & TransparencyWe want our customers to have complete trust in us, total confidence that we will always act fairly and with integrity. Being transparent in everything we do is an important part of this.

Through mandatory programmes that all Aviva staff undergo during their induction period, we take careful measures to ensure that Fair Dealing Outcomes and Fraud & Anti-Money Laundering guidelines – issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) – as well as our own Aviva Business Ethics Code are shared and understood.

We also have an independent contact point that staff can call to report any suspicions they may have about financial crime.

Tackling climate change

Tackling climate changeAviva is dedicated to sustainability – not just in terms of eco-awareness but through daily actions that can save energy and resources. Our actions today will affect future generations, and through our everyday approaches, we seek to make a difference towards climate change and the environment.

Reducing our carbon footprint is our most pressing environmental priority and we are committed to help mitigate the situation through small but helpful steps. We aimed to achieve 20% reduction in CO2e emissions by 2020 – we exceeded this target in 2014, achieving a 32% reduction well ahead of plan.

We also support Earth Hour by going beyond the 60 minutes to encouraging energy-serving habits company-wide.

Community development

Community developmentAt Aviva we are dedicated to helping the community and living our values of Care More and Create Legacy. To commemorate SG50, Aviva employees took time off work in August and September to clean the homes of 50 families, as well as provide them with basic necessities and home appliances.

We take our commitment to Corporate Responsibility seriously. If you’d like to report an ethical or corporate responsibility matter that concerns Aviva, please contact: ethical_matters@aviva-asia.com.
